I've always had a love for animals of all shapes and all sizes. Growing up in the rolling hills and farmlands of upstate NY, we always had plenty of critters around, from dogs and cats to horses and cows...and bunnies and toads in between!

When I moved to Brooklyn I helped two of my friends that were preparing for a life out west. I held down their fort in Williamsburg Brooklyn for two months, maintaining their pad and taking care of their three pets. I fell head over heels for their big muscular ridgeback mutt who thought he was a lot smaller than he was, and their two rambunctious kitties. I thoroughly enjoyed this arrangement and soon adopted two cats of my own. Julio: a large-and-in-charge type with a snaggletooth that fits his gristly persona, and Beatrice: a tiny tabby who helps me keep Julio in line. Now that my kitty needs are met, I love to walk dogs as a great way to connect with the dog lover in me.

When I'm not walking dogs, I'm an author and illustrator of children's books. My debut picture book, Little Bea, bears a striking resemblance to my little Beatrice, and the third book I illustrated, Dini Dinosaur... well let's just say his snaggletooth is no coincidence.

I look forward to meeting your special pets, whether dog, cat, dinosaur or bee. I'll love 'em just like my own.
